Summer Fun
Team Northern Throttle offers two full weekends of exciting drag races every summer. The Waking up the North races are held in June, giving racers the opportunity to warm up for the Vinnie Cup with Northern Drag Racing Outlaws (NDRO) event held in August. Both weekends are open for Super Pro, Semi Pro, Sportsman, Street, Sleds & Bikes, and Junior racers.

Kenogami Lake Sailing Club Regatta
An annual sailing regatta is hosted on Kenogami Lake by the Kenogami Lake Sailing Club. The regatta brings local and visiting sailors for a full day of races followed by a fun social gathering into the evening. Kirkland Lake Area Water Ski Club Show
The Kirkland Lake Area Water Ski Club showcases their barefoot, slalom, and show skiing skills at their annual water ski show held on Kenogami Lake during the August long weekend. Englehart’s Day in the Park
Locals and visitors are encouraged to gather in Centennial park to celebrate summer during this one-day event, by enjoying different food vendors, children’s inflatables, and more.
Canada Day
Every year, the Township of Charlton & Dack celebrates Canada Day along the waterfront on Long Lake. Throughout the day, the celebration includes inflatables, a children’s obstacle course, food and vendors, and fun on the beach, playground, and beach volleyball court. A spectacular firework show, which brings spectators from near and far, closes the event at dark.
Rock N Country by the Lake

Dobie Pig Roast
The annual Dobie Pig Roast is a family-friendly event for community members and visitors to enjoy a pig roast for dinner followed by various activities and entertainment throughout the evening.
